The father, once an English instructor and manager of an English Academy in a small town in Japan, called Matsusaka, now enjoys his retirement with some poem composing.
The mother, having been a good wife and mother of five kids, now deepens her skills and talents in her hobbies, the major parts of which are weaving and dying clothes.
One of their daughters runs a craft shop of handmade crafts and make many handmade stuffs herself. The other daughter, the younger, is now trying to own a school like her father did to study English and others with Kids and the community.
The youngest member of this family is Leo, a 6 years old German Shepard entertains people around him by barking and running after stones... He regards himself as a member of the Kames as well as the other members of the family.
